Located near Agios Nikolaos, Pantazi is a small pebble beach with stunningly clear, deep water. It’s a favourite for snorkelling and morning swims. The beach is compact but atmospheric, with nearby tavernas serving fresh seafood. Best visited outside peak hours for a quieter experience.

Kalogria is one of the most popular beaches in West Mani, known for its golden sand and shallow, clear water. It’s very family-friendly and well organised, with sunbeds, cafés, and watersports. Despite its popularity, it remains beautiful, especially early in the morning or at sunset.

Stoupa Beach stretches along the village waterfront and offers a lively but laid-back atmosphere. It’s a sandy beach with easy swimming and plenty of tavernas, bars, and shops just steps away. Perfect for those who like convenience, sunset walks, and swimming straight after lunch or a cocktail.

Just north of Stoupa, Delfinia is a quieter, more natural pebble beach surrounded by olive groves. The water is exceptionally clear and often calmer than nearby beaches, making it great for relaxed swimming. There are fewer facilities here, which adds to its peaceful, local feel. Ideal if you want to escape the busier resort atmosphere.

Foneas is one of Mani’s most dramatic beaches, tucked between towering cliffs. Large pebbles lead into deep turquoise water, making it excellent for confident swimmers and snorkellers. A massive rock in the middle of the bay is its signature feature. It feels wild and unspoilt, though there is a small seasonal taverna nearby. Waves can be strong on windy days.

Kalamitsi is just a short walk from Kardamyli and one of the easiest to access in the area. It’s a wide pebble beach with calm, clear water, ideal for swimming and kayaking. The backdrop of olive trees and Taygetos mountains gives it a relaxed, postcard feel. Tavernas and cafés line the promenade, making it perfect for a swim followed by a long lunch by the sea.
